چکیده

Fly ash, solid waste from coal-fired power plant, had been utilized as raw material for porous geopolymer by alkaline activation and addition of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) blowing agent. Porous higher surface area total pore volume compared to fly ash without agent, namely 45.511 m2 g-1 0.05131 cc g-1, respectively. was applied adsorbent anionic dyes Eriochrome Black T (EBT) cationic Methyl Violet (MV) aqueous solutions. In this paper, factors affecting adsorption process such dosage, pH, time, initial concentration were studied, in kinetics isotherm studies. Adsorbent the same effect on both EBT MV dyes. The optimum removal efficiency obtained at dosage 2 g L-1 time 90 minutes. increase would decrease efficiency. For pH factor, better 2, while 10. Both followed pseudo-second-order model Langmuir with maximum capacity 45.454 mg 49.261 respectively.

Fly Ash-Based Geopolymer Mortar Incorporating Bottom Ash

This paper presents the results of study on effect of various parameters on mechanical properties of fly ash-based geopolymer mortar with bottom ash as partial or full replacement for sand. Compressive strength of samples with 10% bottom ash (BA) was comparable to those with only sand. Further increase in bottom ash content decreased the compressive strength. However, the reverse tendency occur...
